I woke up and had oat meal for breakfast. I then went to work and snacked on some honey wheat pretzels. Today was pretty bust at work which was great! For dinner I had one serving of tortellini pasta with tomato sauce with hot dog pieces and eggs with potatoes. Last but not least a great glass of red wine. Thus, it was a good day for me.
Tomorrow will be better! I plan on exercising! :)
So it’s day two and I haven’t even started!!! Ugh!!! So yesterday I was suppose to walk up to the gym in our complex to check it out and I hit the snooze button until 11:00am! I was suppose to wake up at 8:30am. I’m a failure!
So that day consisted of getting ready to see my lovely boyfriend! :) We went to the movies and after headed over to Trader Joe’s (My bundle of joy!) to get pizza dough and toppings for our first homemade pizza! It was so fun! I love cooking with my boyfriend we laugh and spend quality time together and going to Trader Joe’s to get our ingredients has been a ritual for us now. We now make dinner at home instead of going out to eat. I believe it’s healthier for the both of us and for our wallets as well!

Our first pizza came out beautifully! It tasted amazing! I couldn’t believe it! So we started thinking of new ideas for toppings for our next pizza. Our next pizza will be chicken alfredo with garlic cloves and possibly onions if I can talk my boyfriend into it. ;)
I’m still maintaining a diet but it’s a healthy diet. I will eat what I want but control my portion intake. This will help me not starve myself and binge. Of course there will be exercise involved but that’s the hard part! I need to motivate myself and just do it!
Now today… January 13 2012..or should I say yesterday being that it’s past midnight.
Well I had Panda Express for lunch. I’m not happy about it but I did eat half of it so it isn’t so bad.
My Panda Express meal:
1/2 White steamed rice
1/2 Chow mein
1/2 Beef and Broccoli
1/2 Orange Chicken

I’ve been struggling with my weight since I was a child. While I was growing up I never thought I was overweight. Looking in the mirror, not one thought came to mind that I would someday become obsessed with my body and what each angle looked like to others.
This all started when I was 10 years old. My father extracted food from my plate stating that it was too much fat for me and I didn’t need it. I as a kid didn’t take much offense because I didn’t understand until he had me drink only smoothies from Juice Stop for dinner while my sister chowed down on her happy meal. That’s when my father gave me the talk and this talk was repeated each time I grabbed a bread stick, a chip, or anything dealing with carbs. My father started with “If you keep this up, who would want to take you to prom? Don’t you want to go to prom?” Harsh much? That’s the day I found out I was ugly and fat. Since then I’ve never stopped with my insecurities.
I’m creating this tumblr as my personal anonymous blog. Each day I’ll be posting my progress of eating healthy, exercising, and losing weight. I’ll post pictures of my progress but you’ll never see my face. I post my thoughts and feelings along the way. I hope to make friends on here and share my experience in hopes of helping others out there like me.
